I heard from a reliable source that Joe Yanello passed away this morning.
Some who started collecting in the past few years may not have known Joe but was a large dealer in the Midwest and once had a nice website with a lot of pre war cards and was well respected. Last edited by ncinin; 05-30-2023 at 08:22 PM. |

The National was his one show/year the past handful of years, but during the 1990s/2000s, he was all over the Illinois, Ohio, Pennsylvania part of the show circuit. Saying that he "touched a lot of cards" is an accurate way to put it. Through that volume and his aptitude, he became one of the most incredibly knowledgeable people on cards that you'd ever meet. |
