My wife and I popped over there yesterday for about an hour. No a/c or the a/c was barely on. Not too much vintage. John Goodman was there with some real great inventory.
I picked up some ‘75 Topps I’m including in a give away; looking for any and all ‘75 Vida Blues for a buddy of mine that just had open heart surgery. I stopped by a booth with a husband and wife team (early 60s?) that we’re selling unopened 83 Topps. $900 for a vendors case; $25 a pack. I picked a few up 2 or three years ago for $5 a pack. I met a very nice gentleman; I believe he recently had a stroke. His Allen & Ginter bird and dude cards caught my wife’s attention. I never picked these up before, but the price was right. Maybe I’ll start a new set to finish! |
