A podcast/chat update… “TALKING VINTAGE BASEBALL - collectors and the stories behind the cards”

As posted here last week, a few of us huddled up on a zoom yesterday after a long week of work and came up with a format for our new, very interactive podcast/chat format for collectors of vintage baseball.

Were going to start in January and probably keep sessions short (30 mins) with a subject matter expert focused on the topic of the session (see ideas below - and feel free to add more to the list in the comments)

FORMAT - The subject expert will probably talk with us for maybe 10 mins which then leaves the rest of the session for all of us to chat, show and tell, ask/answer etc based on the theme of the session.

We’ll have 1-2 moderators just to keep the flow lively, fun and hopefully a little educational as well

Let’s call it “edu-tainment” - make sense?

We have no idea if this will be big or small but that doesn’t matter - last evening we had a small group and really enjoyed “meeting” each other to share our own hobby backgrounds and to plan for the format of the program.

Keep your eyes open after the holidays for our announcements for our innagural session - thanks to the moderators for allowing us to pull this together…. We think/hope this will be yet another way to bring us together as a hobby community to share what we enjoy and know about Vintage Baseball!
