Beckett Media Lists Forged Mickey Mantle Baseball
Doesn't Beckett Media have anyone check their Ebay listings before they submit them?

I get a kick out of the handwritten label on it . . .
MICKEY MANTLE (1931- ) HOF 1974 I suppose that makes sense. After all, if he is still signing, then he must still be alive. No?

I think the label may have been written when Mantle was still alive as it's yellowed. However, I also think the same hand and pen may have written the label and signed the ball!
 Either way, an awful forgery for sure. As shaky as it gets.

Listing removed. Remember there are a lot of Beckett guys that read this board and a few that post. So if one saw it they might have taken care of it, I don't know that for sure though.
Mistakes happen and that signature looks awful even from a non autograph guy...But it's gone now... Quote:
