Default T206 scrap in goodwin?

Lot #56: 1910 Sweet Caporal 350 Subjects Factory 30 Jake Weimer Printer's Scrap SGC 1.5 Fair

Looks like someone spilled kool-aid on it... Maybe it happened at the factory

Right? Looks more like Crap than scrap to me...I'll reserve final judgment for the Freaks-perts!

Default Scrap?

Ok, I'll bite.... I have never owned a scrap and I know a few of you guys have forgot more about scraps then I will ever know, but I don't see it.

This card doesn't appear hand cut. And I only see a stain.
Lastly, I thought one of the 'rules' was that a scrap could not achieve a numerical grade...?

I await the scrap experts before reaching a conclusion, but for now, in my amateur opinion, this is very creative marketing.

+1 on the Kool Aid. I'll be surprised if it gets a bid.

Some other nice cards in the auction though!

Desiderata

You are a child of the universe,
no less than the trees and the stars;
you have a right to be here.
And whether or not it is clear to you,
no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should.
With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams,
it is still a beautiful world.
Strive to be happy.

Would any of the three T206's in Legendary Lot 54 be considered scrap?

Default i was contacted last night about Weimer...

Weimer is NOT A SCRAP.....REPEAT NOT SCRAP..............

it is a common card with a stain and a slight color shift...$20.00 card....

ALL SCRAP ARE HAND CUT AND NOT to receive a numerical grade....those ghost backs are all factory issued and a sheet escaped.....

contact me...I will always clarify

Although I don't consider myself an expert, just one who is knowledgeable enough through the experience of handling quite a few of the oddities.

This card MiGHT be Unique iN the way of the additional Printer's mark above the "Y" oN Mr. Jake Weimer's shirt...

Any one have knowledge if this is an oddity like the Marquad hypotrophy?

Not a Scrap... the stain is questionable though!? Weather it's Kool aid or ink?
Who can tell from a scan?

As Always...

that card was not a scrap.. it commands no premium.. it only shows how the error market is in its infancy... when a well known auction house lists a bad card like that as being scrap...

Default Denny.....

i just went to chk for you , but the lot closed.......from my memory I saw nothing "significant"....but I might have missed....send another scan to my email...

Repeat....ALL PRINTER'S SCRAP CANNOT RECEIVE A NUMERICAL GRADE....all were hand cut from scrap sheets and will not receive a designation of factory cut....

hence, ALL BLANK BACKS CANNOT RECEIVE A NUMERICAL GRADE either.....they are all printers scraps that were hand cut from scrap sheets also...

I really wish all auction houses would consult me before listing a "potential" rarity or printers scrap(t206)....

my services are FREE ....for now
