I have been looking to finish my run of catchers in the 1912 set but his card rarely shows up unless in a large lot. 1912 Zeenuts have all but dried up.

While I have waited probably 6-7 years for this card, I have picked up both a canceled and unpunched Berry Home Run Kisses cards and a Berry Obak Cabinet. The search continues.... |

Green background Cobb portrait T206 with Howe's stamp on the back in a high three-figure price (the most I would ever be able to convince the wife that a baseball card is worth). There are two out there, but not in the three-figures.

Never had any dealings with Bruce(s), but did find his battles here entertaining if not intriguing. RIP.

I was reading the 1991 Sotheby's Copeland catalog the other day, and according to their write-up, only one example exists of the Ruth and Gehrig. I don't follow that set, but I'm not sure if others have surfaced since then. Best of luck in your search. I would like a Type 1 E-107 of Nap Lajoie, but I don't think that will happen. I will settle for a really nice Type 2. Tony |

N172 Kid Madden, leaning on rock pose. I've only seen one for sale, at the 2003 National and I regret passing it up for the dumbest reason. There was one a few years back in a huge lot in some major auction, other than that, nothing in the ten years since the day I passed it up. I have a Player's League card I'll trade for one....anyone?

There's also one about 27 baseball families, as well as a day-by-day look at the worst team in Pittsburgh Pirates history.
