Default Highschool54...

I got a phone call last night in regards to a post on here. Nice to see that back biting and booger flicking are alive here on Highschool54. I'm sure Leon is having a get together later and you guys can have like this giant fart contest and tell each other how great it smells and how cool one another is .

Maybe because there is no Net 54 dinner at the National this year. But wasn't it a beer cheers and not a beer chug?

Mark,

Don't worry. You aren't missing out. You can read about his sexism and other attributes in the archive.

The giant fart contest is open to all

Marshall stole my milk money!.. I miss the American chop suey with the canned green beans... Except for the forced busing, it was a great time.

Mark,

It's probably just the screen name you don't recognize, because, surely, you know Marshall Barkman III very well!

You have probably played a round or two of golf with him. (You lost.) You probably have 2 or 3 of his CD's playing in your car as we speak. (You may not like them, but your wife is in love and your kids are banging their heads.) You have probably bid against him in many auctions, if not cards, then antiques. (Sorry. Again, you lost. He always gets his item.)

If you now remember him and wish to catch up on old times, head to The National in August. He'll be the guy at the bar with the hot girl, check that, many hot girls, in fact, all the hot girls. (Joann not included.)

With comments like that I think Barry is feeling mighty studly right now.
Anyone have an extra 2 by 4 laying around.

That somehow assumes he doesn't feel studly all the time, or as he calls it, feeling like Barry Sloate.

Sometimes it's hard to get along with people who relentlessly attack you.

Default Marshall's greatest hits

Marshall made me laugh harder than I have ever laughed from anything I've read on Net 54.

One was the Barry Goat references. I don't know why but it just struck me as damn funny. The other was when he posted this picture of Peter S and wrote the following:

Peter

"In regards to Peter Spade. Bro i cannot tell if that is your face or did your neck throw up. You remind me of some weasel corporate attorney on board Judge Smails boat getting ready for his yacht cristening. Uhhhhh......oh Margie doll please pass the grey poupon.......thanks my love....."

Granted, the humor was literally from third grade but I think that's why it struck me as so funny.

Default Noizelessness

I'd been wanting to change my screen name because it became obsolete and was no longer ironic without Sir Marshall around.

And now that it suddenly becomes relevant again....WHAM! Banishment!

Alas, out of context and with no sense of irony or sarcasm, I shall continue the bringing of the noize.

"Bro i cannot tell if that is your face or did your neck throw up."

Thanks for bringing that one back to memory. It's making laugh as hard now as the first time. I actually went around trying to use that as a gratuitous cheap shot on some of my friends for a while.

Before we go anointing Marshall as a comic deity you should know that he stole that line from a professional wrestler.

Agreed. I think it was the juxtaposition of Peter's picture next to the words...as if he was just sitting there, watching Marshall as he said it...unable to respond..and the look on his face...I dunno, but it was just hilarious.
