I just asked this same question in a recent plea...to no avail.
A few theories :

First...there are not many Yorks floating about for sale or trade in the first place.

Second...the value of these cards seem to be still settling in, and collectors are not sure if they want to move them.

Third...they are another of the card types that "the beauty is in the eye of the beholder". Some call them ugly !(not me...)

Fourth...I am somewhat new to the board, although a long-time collector. Perhaps the group will respond to a more frequent poster.

So, I apologize for intercepting Scott's plea. I'll take the leftovers if he passes. I have almost 1/2 the set including Ruth, W. Johnson & Speaker. I don't mind low grades in fact I prefer them. C'mon guys, whaddya got for me and Scott ?
