I decided to check out the local weekend flea market here in Southern Maine earlier this morning, since I had seen a Colgan Chip, T206, and a T212 a few weeks back. |

The PC I got b/c Turner Engle gave me a heads up to it - otherwise I'd have missed it. Thanks to Turner and others that occasionally nudge me when I've missed something on ebay. |

That is a great card, Joann. McIntyre's T206 has been high on my wantlist for a long time. Now I think I want his Ramly, too. Doubt I'll get a deal as good as yours, though. |

Thanks guys. I was surprised at where it ended up. The grade comes from a spot of paper loss about 1 cm round, dead in the middle of the back. With a front like that though I still thought it was a good price. |

Thick and clean white borders, 50/50 centering, firm corners, perfect registration and deep colors -- I can't ask for more in a T206 portrait. I love finding these little gems. I'm centering my collection around them. |

Is that a partial proof strip of Sporting Life with the Wagner, Cobb, etc? The colors are so deep. They look much deeper and darker than the typical blue backgrounds. Never seen anything quite like that before. |

Hi Neal. I'm the guy you sniped on the Turkey Mike Donlin card. No hard feelings, but please contact me if you'd like to sell it and make a little profit. |

Hey Larry, got that uncut strip from Brian McQ. Really enjoy "different" and unique items and this sure fits the bill. As far as the colors go, the darker blue does seem a little deeper than most M116`s. If you`d like to further compare Brian has 4 examples of these panels on his web site. I am trying to get cards of the 1`st 5 HOFers and this one got 2 birds with one stone! |

After looking at the back of the "cards" on Brian's website, I would venture to guess that they were part of a thick cardboard display sign advertising The Sporting Life and showing some of the cards available when sending away for the series. Just a guess. |

Got this from a flea market dealer. He told me high dollar cards are too hard to sell so at his request I traded some postwar cards. |
