Posted By: Patrick McMenemy
I decided to check out the local weekend flea market here in Southern Maine earlier this morning, since I had seen a Colgan Chip, T206, and a T212 a few weeks back.

I found an upgrade to my early PB1 catcher pin with no foxing and paper insert intact for $20.00. Insert reads as follows:

H.B. WINDRATH
191 SENECA ST.
BUFFALO, N. Y.
_________

Buttons made by
The Whitehead & Hoag Co.,
Newark N.J., U.S.A.
Pat. He was known for walking off the mound and stalling when opposing teams mounted a rally, a ploy designed to give himself time to regroup."

Posted By: H Murphy
Hey Larry, got that uncut strip from Brian McQ. Really enjoy "different" and unique items and this sure fits the bill. As far as the colors go, the darker blue does seem a little deeper than most M116`s. If you`d like to further compare Brian has 4 examples of these panels on his web site. I am trying to get cards of the 1`st 5 HOFers and this one got 2 birds with one stone!

Posted By: Larry
After looking at the back of the "cards" on Brian's website, I would venture to guess that they were part of a thick cardboard display sign advertising The Sporting Life and showing some of the cards available when sending away for the series. Just a guess.
