I would say the 1926-29 Exhibits Postcard-Back card and the 1926 Sports Co. of America (Spalding) card. |

Do minor league cards count? If so he first appeared on a 1923 Zee-Nut card. |

Some consider minor league cards to be pre-rookie, or prookie as they are called. It's a matter of interpretation. |
