The 1909 Obak also predates this. I am not sure if Obaks can be considered rookie cards since I don't keep up on the current rookie card definitions. |

With the proviso that I think this rookie stuff is BS if a guy has a bunch of earlier minor league cards, the C46 Gandil does not fit the rookie definition as popularly understood for at least three reasons: (1) It is not part of a nationally issued set, or even a regionally issued set since it was issued internationally, (2) It is not a major league cards, and (3) It is later than his PCL issue. |

I have this card in a 3. I've had it so long, I couldn't remember what grade it was. Nice card, but it is not his rookie card. One would have to really stretch the definition of what defines a rookie card. This ain't it.. I can't wait to see what this goes for. I paid $60.00 for mine about 11 years ago. |
