It seems that there was a reference source that listed players alphabetically and also chronologically listed their cards so that we collectors would have some idea regarding which card might be the earliest one issued. |

I clicked on Cap Anson and the list had the Allen Ginter n28 as 1888. I thought the N28 was 1887? |

I thought through some of Hal's research it was determined that those cards actually had to have been issued in 1888. |
