As we speculated earlier, it has the characteristics of the blank backed and thinner N28 and N29 that frequently show up in the hobby. These were clearly cut at one time from an Allen & Ginter advertising banner; but to this date, nothing similar has been found for N162. I doubt that anyone has ever heard of a poster advertising N162's, but it would be reasonable to think at one time such a thing existed. But for lack of any documented proof, my guess is that it is a card that has had the back checklist carefully and painstakingly removed. |

On examining it up close, it doesn't look to be delaminated. If it were, it most likely was done a long time ago. |

Ted- Could you check your album to see what is on the back of the page with Brouthers. If it is not blank, then it has to be a skinned card. |

Thanks Ted. What's most obvious is that the Brouthers in the album is borderless, so Brian's is unquestionably an original card that was skinned. End of mystery. |
