The 2004 Standard Catalog lists the size of these items as 2 1/16" x 3 3/8". The Old Cardboard site says they are supposed to be 2 1/16" x 3 1/8". |

I have 8 W573's. Although not a large quantity, they certainly are spread across the board when it comes to width. I have two at 1-7/8", three at 1-15/16", two at 2", and one at 2-1/4" wide. Were these cards issued in vertical strips? Some of my cards, admittedly low grade, appear to be hand cut along the sides. The monster 2-1/4" wide card has super, unnaturally wide borders (a little over 1/4" on one side, and a little over 5/16" on the other). |

Since I have suspected all along that the strips might have been produced horizontally as well as vertically, the fact that you have some that are all over the lot size-wise seems to confirm my suspicion. It made no sense to me why someone would need to trim the sides of a vertically produced strip card. |

This one is 32 3/4" x 1 7/8 and is evenly cut at that length. It is defintitely off center left to right but still the same width all of the way down it. The 10 players are: Alexander, Aldridge, Flack, Grimes, Barber, Davis, Severeid, Tobin, Shocker, Gerber. The last one, Gerber, is a vertical horizontal |
