This must be that ultr rare ball signed in 1959 when the Yankees loaned some guy with a long beard to the Phillies for the last two months of the season. He hit like 50 home runs for the Phillies. Everyone wondered what happened to Mantle as he disappeared from New York those couple of months. How else could the White Sox have won the pennant? |
