1971 Topps Winner - Steven M. Wilke
Last Friday night, I learned what it feels like to see Bigfoot.
I bought a bunch of 1972-1975 Topps baseball cards from a guy I used to work with. He had bought the cards in packs as a kid and has had them ever since. They were in 3 ring binders and as I was going through the cards, there was a 1971 Topps Winner - Steven M. Wilke. Has anyone seen another example? I believe it is the only one now known. Does anyone know if this could have come from a pack? I'm very excited, and very confused as to how this card ended up in my possession. I've emailed Mr. All Things Topps Dave Hornish and I think he is as perplexed as I am. Any light anyone can shed would be much appreciated. See attached scans. Wilke1.jpg Wilke2.jpg
