This card is from 1978-79, which was Malone's first MVP year. I saw Moses play for the Spirits of St. Louis in 1975. Caldwell Jones was also on that team, and after the 1981-82 season, when Malone averaged 31 and 14 for the Houston Rockets and won his 2nd MVP, he was sent to the 76ers in a sign-and-trade for Jones and a draft pick. The next season, Malone won his 3rd MVP with the Sixers as he led them to the NBA Championship.
