Default Caramel Card Size Comparo E93/E95

I was fortunate enough to buy a collection of cards from original owner recently...mostly E93/E95 with a smattering of e91/E90-1/T205, 33 goudey, Diamond Stars.

Most people who collect these days don't ever touch raw cards...let alone get to see original cards that have not been adulterated.

I'd like to focus on E93/E95. All price guides/catalogs list the size of both cards as 1 1/2" x 2 3/4."

This is just not true...and really should be revisited...adjusted for the future. E93 are dramatically bigger than E95.

Amongst the 20 original E93 in this collection...I could split them into 2 size groups...one of which are huge...the others slightly less huge...but all dramatically bigger than any e95 in the collection.

I've posted pics of some of the e93 depicting size difference within e93...the e95 depicting minor size differences within e95...and a comparison of the 2 together. All cards were aligned at the top of the scanner bed so please focus on the bottoms to see diff in sizes.

What do y'all think?

Obvious fakes Pete, what's your PP/FF address and I'll take them off your hands tonight...

Congratulations, you have some great cards there.

I always thought E95's were shorter, like E105. Just checked oldcardboard, they have E93 at 2 3/4, E95 at 2 5/8, and E105 at 2 5/8. Keep in mind, all these card sizes though are really just ballparks. The consistency in the cutting just wasn't a priority at the time of manufacture.
