I'll start with one of mine, a card that was ahead of its time and reminds me of the 92 Upper Deck Shaq RC.

Anthony, whose game was based on accuracy not power, was a dramatic contrast to another great bowler of the era who threw HARD, Mark Roth, who sadly passed away last year.

I saw many, many events in the Astrodome so I got a kick out of adding this card to my collection years ago. This shot appears to be taken from the same seats we sat in for University of Houston football games as students. Sat there for the Game of the Century duel between Elvin Hayes and Lew Alcindor as well.
I had nearly the same view from my stand on the mezzanine level selling beer during Oilers games. I had to duck down to see the scoreboard though, because of the overhanging upper deck. ![]() ![]()

It took me a while to come around, but I'm a big fan of the Sportscasters. Lots of HOF pre-rookies. Here are a few of my personal faves:

The one with the women's basketball game is a great card. It has Uljana Semjonova (preferred spelling), Pattie Sue Head (Summit) #14 on the right. Lusia Harris trying to block Semjonova's shot. Nancy Dunkle #8 and Julienne Simpson #15. Harris died earlier this year and Semjonova turned 70 a few weeks ago. An acquaintance who lives in Latvia says she does not like publicity, but she is one of the countries most famous athletes. She competed for the Soviet Union since Latvia was a CSR (Communist Socialist Republic). The one of Ann Meyers is probably either the Pan Am Games or World Championships as she wore #6 at the 1976 Olympics.
