Need a reality check
Lost an eBay item today and 10 min later got a Second Chance Offer to buy it. My highest was not a crazy high bid for the card but was not insignificant ($900). Seller has very light feedback but nothing negative. But somehow seems sketchy. Honestly I was considering retracting my bid because the feedback was light and the story posted about how we acquired card from his dead grandfather seemed dubious.
On the other hand, if he flat out rips me off I assume I am covered by pay pal. My instincts tell me to let it go. I was played. But it’s a cool card you don’t see very often. Weighing my options. Any thoughts?
