Default 1921-1923 E220 National Caramel cards

Anyone else have some funky cuts on these seldom seen cards? This one could be trimmed but the cut is so off anyway, I am not sure it matters!!

These cards were printed on thin paper stock so they're somewhat fragile and likely haven't had as many examples survive over the years as other sets from the early 20s. As a result, they're pretty hard to come by and next to impossible to find in mid to high grade.

Miscuts, diamond cuts, oversized borders and those sort of things are very common with this issue as well. Apparently a large number of these were cut up manually. It's almost easier to find miscut cards than cards that are well-centered!

Here's a couple of mine. I think that the Barber might have been on the top row and when the cards were handcut off the sheet, they might just not have trimmed that top edge. I'm not quite sure how to explain the Ring though...

Here's my two. Both have diamond cuts and somewhat oversized borders I think. The Grimm is SGC 20 and the Wilson is SGC 30:

Definitely harder to find a well centered e220 then a radically miss cut one.
