Default 1955 Bowman wanted

I've been working on a low condition 1955 Bowman set for about 4 years and I'm down to needing 1 card to complete it. Most of these cards are listed on ebay for $5-$12. I thought I would check to see if anybody has a card or two in a trade bin.

#239 Rummel (umpire)

I have 239 and 266.

My '55 Bowman wantlist, which I see hasn't been hit in 2 1/2 years (except I just bought the Feller):

37 Reese, 48 (name on back Milt Bolling), 79 Miranda, 82 Walls, 97 Podres, 101 Johnson (need both versions), 130 Ashburn, 132 Kuenn (name on back "Kuenn"), 134 Feller, 157 Johnson (not sure which version I need, please describe what you have), 171 Roberts, 179 Aaron, 184 Mays, 195 Palica (trade mentioned), 202 Mantle, 225 226 231 236 242 Banks, 244 245 246 247 249 252 265 267 269 270 275 277 278 279 289 296 297 300 307 308 309 317 319 320

Other wants are at my website. Thanks.

I've got a low grade #309 and #317 both creased down the center. They also have rounded corners and #309 appears to have had a staple in it at some point in time. Tom

Back in the late 1970's I went to a garage sale and bought a stack of 100 or so 1955 Bowmans for next to nothing. I believe it was less than $10 as I made the purchase from saving my $2 a week allowance. Years later I was looking through them and realized that I had all the major stars (Mantle, Mays, Aaron) so I though to tackle this set. I would purchase a couple from local shows and over the course of a few years my wantlist started to shrink.
