You can visit here for many of your answers: http://t206resource.com/History.html Search through "Index" and search through "Checklists". Read about the print groups, it will help you understand how some unconfirmed cards are believed to be possible with certain backs. You will also notice under certain backs, they have cards recently confirmed, and cards that are unconfirmed but believed to be a possible combination that may show up. All confirmations come from collectors input, typically when the card is located and verified. Then, it is listed as confirmed. If you have, or find, a card that shows it hasn't been confirmed on that site, please contact them and they will update the list-which helps all T206 collectors. Hope that helps- Sincerely, Clayton |

Hi Brian First, 61 subjects were designated for the 350/460 series, this comes from American Lithographic's printing 66 of the SOVEREIGN 350 guys with "apple green" backs (as opposed to the "forest green" backs of the other 350 series subjects in the SOVEREIGN run). And, that is how we determined this number. As a result, three [Joe Doyle, Nichols (bat), Rhoades (throwing)] of these 66 subjects were not subsequently printed with 460 series backs because their ML careers ended. And, Kleinow (Boston) and Frank Smith (Chicago & Boston) were only printed with 460 backs due to their trades.....hence the number 61. Furthermore, as you read in my thread regarding the BROAD LEAF 460 (BL 460) subjects, the 27 that have been confirmed are only from the 350/460 series. No BL 460 subjects were printed from the 460-only series. Good questions; and, if yoiy have more ?'s, I will try to answer them. TED Z |

Start by reading this AMERICAN BEAUTY 350 and 460 thread.......
http://www.net54baseball.com/showthread.php?t=124927 The AB 350 (frame). the BL 350. the CYCLE 350. and the DRUM 350 subjects were printed circa Summer 1910 and essentially share the T206 fronts. I call this the "A-B-C-D" connection...... ![]() TED Z |
