How Could This Be?? - Mathewson Book???
So I spotted a Sixth American Checker Tourney book on eBay.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Christy-Math...vip=true&rt=nc And it is gold embossed "Christy Mathewson, Vice President" on the cover and it is dated 1914. The issue I find is that this is a book that is from 1924, and copy written in 1925, so how could iy have a gold stamp of 1914 on it???  Anyone have any thoughts???
