When baseball ruled, many cities and towns had senior leagues which played highly competitive baseball. Vancouver did, and in fact from 1933 to 1937 or so, produced baseball cards of the players.
Here's a 1924 team photo from the league. Love to see other similar photos from other cities ![]() And here's a card of Johnny Nestman about 10 years later
