advice needed on 1932 US Caramel Joe Cronin please

I have listed a 1932 US Caramel Joe Cronin card on Ebay. It was given to a nun as a donation to her school. I was told I may be very pleasantly surprised at the outcome of this auction. And I was refered to you.
Today I was offered $1000 for it and I turned it down. Am I nuts?
The card looks nearly perfect to me, and it comes with the US Caramel wrapper which is also in very good shape.

Edited title to be more descriptive and to put original name back as the originator
