Back in 1979, my mother bought me a 1933 Goudey Babe Ruth #53. It was in low-grade, with several creases, rounded corners and dirty edges. The card was among many cards I sold in 1991 right after I returned to the states after 2 years stationed in Germany and needed money to buy a car and furnish an apartment. |

I remember being six years old and living in Philadelphia. Greg Luzinski was my favorite player, and one night my dad took me to the local 7-11 and bought me some cards. I was VERY excited to get a Greg Luzinski that night - so excited I wrote a number "1" on the back of the card. |

...and I actually am not sure it is a wet sheet transfer, since the text, though faint, is rather legible -- as opposed to blurry. |
