I didn't know that the M101-2 and the Baseball Bats Lajoie share the same photo. Are there other players common to both sets which also share photos?

That Lajoie is very interesting. What size is it? Could it be from the Felix Mendelsohn prototype set that includes Mathewson and Schalk? I know a board member has the Mathewson. Maybe he can post a scan for comparison.

Frank, I used to have a few of those. From what I can tell they are some kind of Cinderella cards. With blank backs and no indications on the front it is unclear where they came from. They so seem to share a lot of images with M101-4 and M101-5.

I must say that my favorite Lajoie, and maybe my favorite baseball card period is the T206 with bat.

Frank, the Lajoie strip card you ask about is in the SCD under 1915 w-unc. strip cards. I have the same one, so there are at least two out there. Best regards, Brian Campf.

Its hard for me to say what Lajoie card looks the best because they all are neat looking. If you look at the rest of the HOFers from different sets, i'd say that the Lajoie ones are the best overall. Or atleast the top 5 anyways
