Just curious to know if this Phil Weintraub 1936 World Wide Gum card is THAT rare ? Thanks. |

Its the last card in the set, so has a slight premium for top grade examples (because 1st and last cards usually got more wear when stored). But that one is 10X too much. |

semi-scarce card + jewish player with only 2 issues + dedicated bidder with deep pockets= $$$$$$ |

What other issue do you show him in? My database says this is his only card. |

Still a crazy price for a common or below average player and not a short printed card. Would rather have a nice Greenberg from same set for 1/2 that $$ |

Thanks Jamie. I don't have multi-player cards in my database becuase I want cards that feature just that player. Guess this means this will be one of the last cards I buy as I refuse to pay an insane price for a marginal player from a set that isn't that rare. |

It was a beautful very early Sunday afternoon either in 1944 or 1945, me and a couple of other guys had just left church and we decided to take a walk to Central Park just a couple of blocks away. |

Seplotnick is a "notorious" collector of Jewish athletes who goes very, very hard after a card he wants. Cost me an extra $50 on a boxing card today. |
