psa vs scg

I was wondering if anyone out there can tell me , that I noticed that psa will encapsulate trimmed or cards that have been tampered or otherwise such as pinholes ect, but they wont grade it, it will just read authentic if the card is real, does anyone know if scg does the same thing?
