I have just come into some baseball memorabilia and I was wondering what it all might be worth. I know first hand that everything is authentic, because my grand father pitched for the NY Yankees in the'49 World Series. Items include, a team signed ball from '49 including Joe Dimaggio and Larry (Yogi) Berra, World Series program (mint condition)and grandpa's baseball card. Additonally, he's father was also a very noted player back in the 20's - 30's, and I have baseball cards of him too, dated 1923 by Beechnut(?), along with a huge scrap book of sports page clippings dating back to the early 20's and some very old pictures. To me it's all pricless, since it's my heritage, but I need to get an idea of what I'm looking at so I can proceed to get an insurance policy on it. Any advice would be appreciated! |
