but this has been gnawing at me since it was sort of glossed over in a recent thread. Can anyone confirm the existence of M101-5 (as differentiated from M101-4) with Sporting News ad on back? If we've been carrying this listing in error since the 1st edition of the Standard Catalog, this would be a good time to catch it. |

For what it's worth, I now have almost 300 M101-4/5, and not a single one that's unequivocally a Sporting News number. In other words, I have some where the player has the same number in both sets, but none where he's clearly an M101-5. |
