Default E94 Sam Crawford 7-card color run

-
One of my favorite baseball card images, one of my favorite players, one of my favorite sets.

Tough card, tough set. Ended up being a 5-year project and would not have happened without help from Leon, PCoz, and Steve, thanks for the assist guys, much appreciated.

I really like how even though it's the same image, each background color changes the feel and mood of the card.

I can now officially retire from the E94 color run business.

Unless of course I can find the unicorn M131 Crawford...

It's a little late for that. They started late with the E98s and all it does is make things confusing.

Amazing color run Phil. I'm happy to have helped you fill in one of the blanks near the end.

Indeed nicely done Phil. I like this pose and how it emphasizes his hands and grip on the bat. It looks like this swing would have likely produced one of his 309 MLB career record 309 triples.

GORGEOUS!!! That olive colored one looks amazing—definitely better than if I had given you mine.

Congrats!

I know its liking choosing your favorite child, but do you have a fav? Mine might be the orange.

As a Crawford collector myself....this is an incredible collection. I am fortunate to have two of the color variations, but this is next level.

THANKS FOR SHARING!

Back runs are cool, but front runs like this one are even cooler!

When I saw the orange Crawford back when it was Leon's I inquired about it because I wanted to do exactly this! It's a beautiful group of cards. Congrats!

Thanks for the kind words, it was challenging and fun to put together this run, glad its done.

Charles-
I did that exercise the other day, "which one is your favorite" and I couldn't choose, they all are unique in their own way, and as a group they look even better. Guess I'll have to keep them together.

Darrell-
The Oranges are the most rare, there's only 15, maybe 20 total and not all players are represented in the known cards so I don't think you can count them as a card needed to complete a run like you can the other colors. Purple is a highly desirable color so collectors tend to value them higher and keep them which makes them rare.

The other colors can depend on a specific player/color background combination in regards to rarity.

Fun set to collect.

I am sure once some PSA Set Registry whale requests it then they will make it happen.
