Hi-di-ho, neighbor!
Is that you Wilson? Is it possible that the Cracker Jack with the Owen Wilson bio, Wilson, St. Louis Nationals actually shows Art Wilson instead? Here are the scans of both Wilson Cracker Jacks, one identifying Owen and the other showing Art Wilson, Chicago Federals. Anyone else think that the player on the Owen Wilson Cracker Jack looks nothing like Chief Owen Wilson? Patrick Last edited by Vintagecatcher; 12-17-2019 at 08:41 PM. |

Patrick...I think you are onto something. The two Cracker Jack Wilson cards pictured look like the same gentleman. And here is the Wikipedia photo for Owen Wilson, which indeed looks completely different than what is seen on the cards.

Here's a look at each player's M116 Sporting Life card.
Note the curls in Art's hair similar to the curls seen in the Wilson, St. Louis Cracker Jack. Patrick Last edited by Vintagecatcher; 12-17-2019 at 08:21 PM. |
