Fun With Numbers:
Khris Davis led MLB with 48 home runs this year - the third straight year he hit at least 40.
He also hit .247- for the FOURTH consecutive season! ……………… Vinny Castilla had the same Triple Crown Totals in consecutive seasons: 1996-97 40 HR, 113 RBI, .304 …………….. Fred Lynn hit exactly 23 HRs FOUR consecutive seasons (1984-87) ……………. Hank Aaron, who wore #44 almost his entire career, hit exactly 44 HRs FOUR different times: 1957, 1963 (when Willie McCovey, who also wore #44 and was also born in Mobile, AL, tied him), 1966, & 1969 (when McCovey edged him by one.) …………… Warren Spahn, who wore #21 his entire career, won exactly 21 Games an amazing EIGHT times! …………...
