Joey Gallo has had more HR than singles the last two years. He is only the second player (McGwire the other) to have more than 502 PA (qualifying season) and have more HR than single in multiple seasons.
2017: 41HR | 32 Singles 2018: 40HR | 38 Singles McGwire hit more HR than singles 4 times. This includes his 2001 season where he hit more HR than all other hits combined (29 HR | 27 Non HR hits). Bonds hit only 49 singles in 2001 when he hit 73 HR. |
