Babe Ruth photo 1926 Exhibition game in NJ (Sold)
This 7 x 9 photo is mounted on a 12 x 13.5 CDV style mat.
On the back is written "Babe" Ruth played exhibition game Picture taken Raritan Copper Works Baseball Field A google search of Babe Ruth and that field returns an article about the game being played in October, 1926. That jacket style was in use by the 1926 Yankees. Asking $275, including shipping for this original, likely unique Babe Ruth photo. Satisfaction guaranteed. The photo has been sold. Thank you.   The name Richard J Galvin is written in pencil above "Babe" Ruth. He's probably the other guy in the photo.  Underneath is written "Give Oct. 31, 67" and the names of brothers Robert and Frankie Medvetz. That's the date this photo was given to them. It was tucked away and forgotten in a closet in their Mom's house until recently re-discovered.
