100) BILL VEECK & MARTY MARION 8X10 ORIGINAL "GEORGE DORRILL" PHOTO SIGNED BY BOTH ! Has photographers stamp and date 1953 on the reverse. Veeck a Hall of Fame executive poses with Marty Marion a possible future Hall of Famer. Both men have signed and inscribed the photo "To Red" on the light portion. A fabulous dual signed photo ! $350.00
101) R.J. "BOBBY" WALLACE Vintage and pristine 3x5 signed boldly in fountain pen. Would be impossible to find nicer ! But that is not all , autograph comes with an unsigned 1910 Original "Sporting News" 8x10 supplement photo of Wallace as a player in Browns uniform and a formal LOA from JSA which it came with when I bought it. Increasingly tough to find Hall of Fame autograph Wallace played for the 1894-1898 Cleveland Spiders, 1899-1901 & 1917-18 Cardinals & 1902-1916 Browns. Also became a major league manager after his playing career. He was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1953 and died in 1960. $550.00
102) JACK WARHOP vintage 3x5 signed boldly in fountain pen. A pitcher for the 1908-1915 Yankees he is best remembered for giving up Babe Ruth's first two career home runs. Warhop died in 1960. $250.00
103) HOWARD EHMKE 4x6 Vintage heavy stock card signed in fountain pen. One of the best pitchers of his day 1915-30 for the Tigers , Athletics, Red Sox. He pitched a no-hitter in 1923. He died in 1959. $175.00
104) WALLY SCHANG Vintage 3 1/2 x 6 card signed in fountain pen on the lined side. Dated March 7th, 1952. One of the premier catchers of his day and a possible future Hall of Famer. Played for the 1913-1931 Athletics, Tigers, Yankees, Red Sox & Browns. Died-1965. $175.00
105) AUGUST A. "GUSSIE" BUSCH JR. Full page typewritten letter dated July 29th 1954 , Measures 8 1/2 x 11 and is written on St. Louis Cardinals letterhead. Bold fountain pen signature ! Cardinals owner from 1953 until his death in 1989. He built the Anheuser Busch companies into the largest Brewery in the World and served as its chairman 1946-1975. A tough autograph to find especially pertaining to his baseball affiliation $350.00
106) MUDDY RUEL full page short handwritten letter on Cleveland Indians letterhead. Measures 8 1/2 x 11 and originates from the Walter Danahy collection. Ruel writes "Dear Walter , offering thanks for your nice letter and kind wishes, H. RUEL" A catcher for 19 major league seasons begining in 1915. He is best remembered for two of baseball's most famous incidents. In 1920 He was the catcher behind the plate when Ray Chapman was killed by a Carl Mays beanball and in the 1924 World Series he scored the winning run in game 7 to clinch the Championship for Walter Johnson and the Washington Senators. He died in 1963. $100.00

115) BILL TERRY & TRAVIS JACKSON ORIGINAL WIRE SERVICE PHOTO 1937 Measures 8x10 with original UPI stamp on the reverse. Great NY Giants photo signed by both Hall of Famers Terry and Jackson. Pictured in the middle but not signed by Giants owner Stoneham. Signatures are bold and vintage photo exhibits some minor creasing throughout and there is some fading on the very top portion of the photo which does not affect either signature which are signed on the light portion and Vintage ! $250.00
116) CHARLIE ROOT SIGNED CHECK Large format complete personal check measures 3 x 8. Made out entirely in his own hand and dated April 8th 1958. Effective pitcher for 1923 Browns and 1926-41 Cubs ,Best remembered for pitching Babe Ruth's "Called shot" homerun in the 1932 World Series he died in 1970. $100.00
117) ED BARROW SIGNED CHECK complete personal check made out entirely in his own hand and dated December 4th , 1952. Measures 2 1/2 x 7 3/4. Comes with an unsigned 8x10 photo of Barrow. Executive credited with helping to build the Yankee "Dynasty" he was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1953 and died that same year. $100.00
118) WALTER HOLKE 3x5 index card signed perfectly in fountain pen on the lined side. Holke played for the 1914-1925 Giants , Braves, Phillies & Reds a tough autograph he died in 1954. $150.00
119) VIRGIL BARNES Vintage 3x5 signed on the lined side in fountain pen. Has also written "NY Giants" Barnes played for the 1919-28 Giants and the 1928 Braves he died in 1958. $150.00
120) JOE BENZ 3x5 card has signed and also written "Chicago White Sox" A pitcher for the Sox from 1911-19 including the infamous 1919 Team. He pitched a no-hit game in 1914. He died in 1957. $250.00
121) CHARLES ROBERTSON 3x5 index card signed on the lined side. A member of the imfamous 1919 White Sox he also pitched for them in 1922-25 and the 1926 Browns, 1927-28 Braves. In 1922 in only his 4th Major League start he pitched the 5th Perfect Game in major league history. He died in 1984. $100.00
122) GEORGE RUMLER Vintage 3x5 index card signed boldly in fountain pen. Played for the 1914, 1916-17 Browns. A tough autograph he died in 1966. $100.00
123) VAN PATRICK full page typewritten letter dated May 9th 1956 , measures 8x8 and is written on "Detroit Baseball Company" letterhead , Van Patrick was a sportscaster for the Detroit Tigers and Detroit Lions and was the 1st Monday Night football play by play announcer from 1970-73. He died while preparing to broadcast a Notre Dame football game in 1974. $250.00
