First correct answer wins a 21 card pack of T206-style cards given out at the Historic Autographs booth at this past year's National Convention. You can only win once. One answer per person, per question please.
![]() Fun Fact: 38 different Hall of Famers have cards in the T206 set. These 38 players have a total of 77 cards if you count all poses. Question 1: Which T206 HOFer has the lowest career batting average. (Regular position players only, pitchers don't count) We have a winner, scroll down. Question 2: Which T206 HOFer has the been Hit By Pitch the most in his career? We have a winner, scroll down to see answer. Question 3: Which T206 HOFer played or managed the fewest games with the team listed on his T206 card? Last edited by peterose4hof; 03-13-2014 at 08:03 AM. |

You are correct sir! PM me your address and I will ship the cards to you.
Tinker had a career AVG of .262, the next lowest was Miller Huggins (.265) followed by Tinker's teammate Johnny Evers (.270). |

My gut was bresnahan, but then I remembered the trio that got in purely due to a poem about them. Huggins wasn't even on my radar since I think he was voted in as a manager.

This is just a guess, but the most Hit by pitches has to be Ty Cobb.

It's the HOFer that makes the HBP tough.

Pretty sure it's Hughie Jennings. If I'm correct, instead of mailing me the cards, please donate them to a Children's Hospital in your hometown.

Has to be Jennings. He was well known for that skill. I believe he held the record for many years.
Don Baylor currently have the record? or Craig Biggio? |

![]() Quote:
Cool story about Hughie... "He certainly enriched the lexicon of baseball. (Hughie) Jennings would stand in the first-base coaching box, raise his fists, kick one leg into the air and yell: 'Here we are.' Finally, by sacrificing consonants for simplicity, this became 'Eee-Yah.' The fans would pick up the chant whenever Jennings would step onto the field, and sounds would ring through old Bennett Park. - Sportswriter Joe Falls of The Detroit News |

I donate cards to various children's charities a few times each year. I will add your winnings to the next group. Thanks!
