First correct answer wins a 21 card pack of T206-style cards given out at the Historic Autographs booth at this past year's National Convention. You can only win once. One answer per person, per question please.

Tinker had a career AVG of .262, the next lowest was Miller Huggins (.265) followed by Tinker's teammate Johnny Evers (.270).

My gut was bresnahan, but then I remembered the trio that got in purely due to a poem about them. Huggins wasn't even on my radar since I think he was voted in as a manager.

This is just a guess, but the most Hit by pitches has to be Ty Cobb.

It's the HOFer that makes the HBP tough.

I googled it so I won't answer, but I was surprised.

Pretty sure it's Hughie Jennings. If I'm correct, instead of mailing me the cards, please donate them to a Children's Hospital in your hometown.

Has to be Jennings. He was well known for that skill. I believe he held the record for many years.

Eee-Yah is right! Hughie Jennings is still the all-time leader in HBP with 287. Craig Biggio is the modern-day leader with 285.
