Default Grading Game!

Hey everyone. Well it's been a while since I've sent some stuff in to SGC. Well I'm sending in 10 t206s. The pictures are below. The game consists of guessing what each card will grade. If someone guesses correctly on EVERY card grade when they come back, I will send them one of my raw t206s. So have fun Thanks guys.

By the way, the Kelley t206 will not be included here. It has not arrived yet. Also I am almost positive it will grade a 2.

Only a 2 on the Evers? The card looks great in person. I feel like it will be a 3+. The scan makes it look like it has a crease, but it has none. By the way, I forgot to include the Beaumont card. I'll add it to the original post.

I thought 2.5 on Evers because it does have a nice appearance, but I feel the long crease running from his neck out to the left border plus advanced corner wear likely bring it below a 3...could be wrong though!

Good luck with the grades - hope you do well!!!

Cheers,
Blair

If the back was all intact, I'd say a 2, but it has multiple spots of paper loss...I think that is why most feel it is a 20. SGC is especially tough on paper loss - at least in my experience.

Cheers,
Blair

No paperloss, just the back is dirty.

Hi Wazoo,

What I'm seeing cannot be dirt...it is one of the whitest parts of the reverse of the card. A big piece of the letter "I" in the word Cigarettes is white. Unless you have a very strange camera, there is either paper loss or else white remnants attached to the card from removal from an album. Other spots on the reverse also look the same to me. Either way, SGC seems likely to penalize the card.

Cheers,
Blair

Really shocked at the Evers and Cree. Corners alone should have held those down. Maybe you should submit for me!

I agree...it appears SGC has relaxed their grading standards to more similarly mirror PSA?

The Evers is beautiful in person, the scan does it no justice whatsoever. The Cree on the other hand...yeah I was worried about him. Very nice EPDG in a 3. Now all I need them to do is give my Matty a 3!
