I know what you mean. I have my fingers crossed on a couple I would really like. |

I'm bowing out at $3750 on this one (thought $2500 would take it) |

I can't for the life of me figure out why not only does each lot not close individually, but you can't even see any time clock at all. Makes no sense. |

I got outbid on the t207 Lowdermilk 9.5 hours after extended bidding kicked in. These things always drag on forever... I wish there was some practice that was better than the others, but it's not obvious. Maybe the best one is the 15-minutes-per-lot, rather than waiting for the whole thing to close at once. I can vouch that it's a lot easier being on the West Coast, for what that's worth. |

If anybody is still awake or paying attention, the lots now have a closing time of 3:15 A.M. est. |

Yeah, this is an insane way to end an auction. I know bids were still coming in...but still. It's just unfair to the East Coast guys, painfully long, and ends in a subjective way. The fact is, you can keep an auction open for a month and bids will still come in. |

Picked up the 1898 Cameo Pepsin Gum Pin Hugh Jennings, his earliest collectible aside from the unique 1894 Alpha Photo Engraving card which I can never afford. |

The Cabal went 1 for 2, losing the e97s but winning the lot of 25 E94s. |

I can't imagine a much worse way to end an auction. Started to have hopes that I might win my lot after 7 hours of inactivity but those hopes were dashed this morning. Discouraging and another catalog off to auction wasteland. |
