I was just curious if any one happened to keep track of the T206 trimmed cards Lots that Sportscards Plus offered last year. Who bought these lots? I now they were very nice trimmed cards and even Sportscards Plus said it was tough to tell the cards were trimmed. |

Lee, I assume you are referring to dugoutman on Ebay correct? I am awaiting a McQuilland in "NM+" condition (his scale). Is measuring the card the easiest way to determine trimming, or just comparing it to known unaltered 206's, or both? He apparently shipped the card Friday, after nearly two weeks (paid w/ MO). I started a thread on this guy a few weeks ago, and heard some interesting stories. Hopefully it isn't trimmed. |

I don't now what people are afraid of with a negative. If you have a legitimate beef and he retaliates you can always respond. I feel it is better to let other potential buyers know what the seller is up to. |

I finally received my McQuillan (NM+) in the mail yesterday, and beyond a very small light stain in the lower right corner it appears to be a very nice card. The colors are better than what the scan depicted. Still, I would only grade it at EX/NM. I am planning on sending it to SGC and see what I get back. I am satisfied enough to leave positive feedback. |
