No Politics LA Fire Thread
Just saw that the other thread was locked, due to runaway political commentary. Please, let's keep this one apolitical...
I just wanted to communicate to any and all who live in SoCal, and are not yet impacted by fires... Please clear all of the brush that surrounds your homes. I just watched 2 hours of live arial footage that very clearly showed that houses with cleared brush remained untouched, while the fires got to those houses with shrubbery/brush situated close to the structures. The difference was dramatic. The wind is supposed to pick up again (significantly) today through Wed. Do what you can to clear the brush that's closest to your house, as it could make all the difference. Thoughts and prayers to all impacted.
