1904 John McGraw Book Christy Mathewson!!!
NEAT 1904 John McGraw The Science of Baseball Book
I Googled this and found nothing, also searched Legendary and a few other auction houses and could not find an exact one, closest was this: http://www.legendaryauctions.com/Lot...entoryid=25132 1904 was the only year there was not a World Series, due to John McGraw and his hatred toward Ban Johnson and thus his refusal to play Boston in the World Series, stating his NY Giants were the true Champions of Baseball. Oddly inside the book features a team photo of the Boston team. Some great Matty photos amongst other Giants. Also includes a full 1904 schedule for all teams, the rules for baseball, some great ads, about 30-40 pages on baseballs, gloves, major league uniforms, etc. etc. Very cool item from 1904 - good overall condition, no loose pages, front and back cover attached.
