I just posted pictures of this sign in February Pickups. As you can see the top and right borders were cut away so it could be used as the backing of a picture frame. I know I know...it makes me sick too.

if you had the other two pieces for it I would get it fixed but as you don't I would frame it as is.

I would have an artist create the missing pieces and kinda put it back like a puzzle NOT having to touch the original poster/sign. Then frame it

If I had the money to do so I would have it restored by the same company that restored the A&G poster in Lelands. They did a great job, and no doubt it increased its value.

What beautiful colors! They sure knew how to draw your attention. I guess I would try to have it restored then frame it.

Hey Dan. Can you provide a link to that Leland's lot or do you know who the restorer was?
Thanks |

If you want to hang it on your wall and enjoy it then I would have it restored. It is a wonderful piece possibly unique that if you had restored would bring you and collectors joy for a number of lifetimes. You would be preserving a piece of baseball history. That being said get some estimates on the cost of restoration and framing the poster and see if the cost balances with the benefit. I had a poster restored last spring and am very happy I did.

I've never seen that sign before...it's a real beauty...yes I'd have it restored...most of it would be original...It's just too nice not to I think.
