Help identifying negro baseball team/stadium/year
Long shot here but any thoughts would be appreciated. Picked up this set of photos recently (thanks Brian) and trying to narrow down teams, location, year. Looks like 30's/40's period. Reportedly from a scrapbook with photos from the Atlanta area. Possibly just a pair of local African-American teams or possibly barnstorming team(s). Location almost looks like a beach area with the steps out in the short right field area. they've brought in a portable speaker system mounted on a car. Any of you car guys know what year that car was produced?
