If that baseball is an example of the "new" auto pen process being discussed on the board than the hobby has NOTHING to worry about.
![]() The process of "new" ink being applied to old leather is usually visible under magnification. In fact "new" ink applied to old paper can usually be identified as well. By looking for rate of absorption. Its not that difficult if you know what you are looking for.
