M113/M114 knowledge needed.........name size

Does anyone know if different size fonts on the names of these premiums is normal or occurs with a reprint of the original. I have 2 Dimaggios and one has smaller size font on the name, everything else matches. Any light shed on this is appreciated.

I don't know if anybody has conducted a detailed study, but I know that there are very many font variations. Also, you will see differences in the left and right captions for the city.

I have 5 different Dom DiMaggio's :

Left city - right city - font
New York - New York - small i in Di Maggio
New York - NY - large I in DI Maggio - large font
New York - NY - large I in DI Maggio - small font
New York - New York - large I in DI Maggio - large font
New York - New York - large I in DI Maggio - small font

And 3 Joe Di Maggio's :
Left city - right city - font
New York - NY
New York - New York - large font
New York - New York - small font

I have about 100 different player's with font variations, and I wouldn't be surprised if there are hundreds more. Needless to say, they are virtually impossible to spot on ebay listings.

My assumption is that these variations happened with different printings of the player.
